Flowering 2-3 weeks earlier than standard types, Achillea Summer Pastels F2 shows a delightful mix of pink, rose, red, apricot, cream, beige, ochre, lavender, purple and white.
Ideal uses: Borders, pots, containers, windowboxes. Great for drying.
Sowing time: February to June or September to October
Sow in heat, place in propagator or seal seed trays in polythene until after germination. When large enough to handle, transplant to 3" pots and then grow in cooler conditions. When all risk of frost is passed, gradually acclimitise plants to outside conditions prior to planting out. Plant out 60cm (24") apart in full sun. With Autumn sowings, overwinter in a coldframe & plant out in Spring.
