Sowing time: March to May
Sow in heat, place in propagator or polythene-sealed seed trays until after germination. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings to 3" pots and then grow in cooler conditions. When all risk of frost is passed, gradually acclimitise plants to outside conditions prior to planting out in September or October. Plant out 60cm (24") apart in full sun.
