Sowing time: Inside: February to June or September to October, Outside: May to June
Inside: Sow in gentle heat. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings to 3" pots and then grow in cooler conditions. When all risk of frost is passed, gradually acclimitise plants to outside prior to planting out.
Outside: Sow in situ, in finely raked, loamy, moist, well-drained soil.
